  The Connecticut Blues Society will be sponsoring a First Sunday Blues Jam at The Pine Loft in Berlin CT. The CTBS All-Stars (River City Slim, Phil Caron and Joey Primo) are back as the house band with a different 'guitar star' joining the band each month. This month's features Boston's guitar ace Chris 'Stovall' Brown. Chris has played with a Who's Who of great Blues and R&B musicians over the years, both as a sideman and leading his own bands. Musicians bring your instruments - amps, drums, keyboards and PA are provided. Singers and harmonica players should bring their own mics, for obvious reasons. The Pine Loft is a full-service restaurant, so bring your appetite! They also have a variety of beers and wines! Music starts at 1:00 PM

  The CTBS Blues Jam Summer Series is back! From May until September, the CTBS will be sponsoring a First Thursday Blues Jam at The Chicken Shack at The Farm at Carter Hill in Marlborough CT. The CTBS All-Stars (River City Slim, Phil Caron and Joey Primo) are back as the house band with a different 'guitar star' joining the band each month. Kicking off the 2023 series our great featured artist is the great Chris Vitarello. Chris has played and toured with a wide variety of nationally known Blues artists including Bruce Katz, Vanessa Collier and Diane Blue He also leads his own groups and often shows up backing top local singers like Lee Ann Lovelace. The Chicken Shack is a rustic barn setting, with tables indoors and huge side doors that open to a field for outdoor seating, so there are plenty of options for social distancing. Musicians bring your instruments - amps, drums, keyboards and PA are provided. Come out to play with some of the best Blues musicians in CT. The Chicken Shack has great, reasonably priced food, so come hungry. There's also a full bar! Music starts at 6:00 PM, and there's NO COVER! The Farm at Carter Hill is located at 86 East Hampton Road   (Route 66) in Marlborough.

Tim has played and toured in a wide variety of settings from duos to full bands but loves getting the opportunity to play full-on Blues and R&B.
