The Connecticut Blues Society will be sponsoring a First Sunday Blues Jam at The Pine Loft in Berlin CT. The CTBS All-Stars (River City Slim, Phil Caron and Joey Primo) are back as the house band with a different 'guitar star' joining the band each month. This month's features Boston's guitar ace Chris 'Stovall' Brown. Chris has played with a Who's Who of great Blues and R&B musicians over the years, both as a sideman and leading his own bands. Musicians bring your instruments - amps, drums, keyboards and PA are provided. Singers and harmonica players should bring their own mics, for obvious reasons. The Pine Loft is a full-service restaurant, so bring your appetite! They also have a variety of beers and wines! Music starts at 1:00 PM
